skunk

Something that I share my property with are skunks. Every morning when I go out, I smell a skunk without doubt. These things are everywhere where I live but the thing is I do not want them to leave for an extremely specific reason. The fact that they smell so bad a lot of predators do not want to eat them, in fact a lot of predators avoid them. Knowing this fact, instead of running them off or trapping them I let them stay. To keep them in one area what I would do is leave one egg every 3 days for them to eat. Ever since I started to do this predator activity has decreased to zero on my small farm. Another positive thing about having skunks other than indirectly protecting small livestock is they love to eat wasp larvae because they are immune to bee stings because of their thick hide, they remove any wasp colony in your area. But yesterday I started to have problems with them. My grandfather who lives right next to me told me that something is under his house that stinks and makes grunting noises and keeps waking him up. My grandfather needs his sleep and plus these things could tear up something under his house so I have made a tough decision that is a one-way decision, I must remove them.
